Seminar to Highlight Profitable Use of Social Media at E3 EXPO, April 2017
A panel of social media and marketing experts will attend the E3 Business Expo on 5th April 2017 to take part in a free, half-hour question-and-answer session for business delegates. Chaired by Jean Atkinson, director of Eden Marketing and Marketing Minds, it will give visitors the chance to pose questions on topics such as how to plan a social media strategy, how to establish effective social platforms and how to measure return on investment.
For the session, which runs from 3:30pm to 4:00pm, Expo organiser 1 Events Media has chosen panel members with a broad spread of experience. They include Daniel Knowles, founder of Lancaster based Mega Social, a company that advises clients UK-wide on how to create business-winning social media campaigns.
Also present will be Graham Campbell, owner and MD of the Hyndburn-based Moose Media Management. An experienced blogger and trainer, he will be focusing on the importance of employee advocacy within the realm of social media.
The third panellist is David Lomas, CEO of the Manchester-based content marketing agency, M3 Media Publishing. He will be on hand to answer questions about strategy and content: how to generate articles, images, video and other forms of content that maximise social engagement.
The E3 Business Expo is a one-day business-to-business trade exhibition. It will be held at the Macron Stadium in Bolton and will feature around 70 exhibitors. Entry is free.
Discussing the social media Q&A session, 1EM’s managing director, Mubarak Chati said: “The digital world is changing all the time and though many small businesses recognise that social media can be useful, they often struggle to decide how and where to apply limited resources. This seminar is designed to help delegates through the social media maze. It will emphasise the importance of goal-setting and developing a reasoned strategy, of measurement and analysis, and using social media in ways that really make a difference to the bottom line.
“As a Q&A session, it will have no set agenda, so the delegates themselves will determine its direction, although our chair, Jean Atkinson will be ensuring it covers topics that are relevant and interesting to everyone.”
Other seminars taking place at the Expo will address issues such as marketing, effective networking and public sector funding and procurement. The Expo will also feature a special IT Zone, where visitors can meet a range of specialist exhibitors in what will effectively be a one-stop-shop for IT solutions.
The E3 Expo is free to attend, businesses can register here.
