Visitor registrations opening for E3 Business Expo (North West)
On 1st February, visitor registrations open for the E3 Business Expo – a one-day, business-to-business trade exhibition aimed at businesses and entrepreneurs from across the North West. The event will be held on 5th April 2017 in the Premier Suite of the Macron Stadium in Bolton. Around a thousand visitors are expected and attendance is free.
Hosted and organised by 1 Events Media, the Expo will feature a busy programme of seminars, business networking sessions and around 70 stands.
To help delegates make the most of the day, two kinds of business networking are planned. There will be two speed networking events, together with a general networking session hosted by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
Visitors will also be able to take advantage of free information and advice at the event’s IT Zone, where a variety of experts in digital technologies will be demonstrating cutting edge business solutions. Amongst others, exhibitors will include hardware and software specialists, website designers and app developers. They will be on hand to discuss everything from networks and connectivity to software solutions for e-commerce, finance, manufacturing, service, sales and logistics.
As a one day event, the Expo condenses the exhibition, the networking sessions and a series of seminars into just a few hours – between 10:30 and 16:30. The format is designed to create a packed programme of activities, ensuring that visitors can use their time as productively as possible.
A key feature of the Expo is its seminar programme. This year, there will be six half-hour sessions, each addressing an important business topic. The first, by Andrew Dewhurst of Affilius Group, will present a series of short case studies that show how North West businesses have successfully used their IT strategies to gain a vital competitive edge.
Two of the seminars will feature expert panels and will take a question-and-answer format. One of them will look at the future of digital marketing while the other will consider how to maximise the return on investment from social media. Other topics will include effective business networking, bidding for public sector contracts and how to develop a distinctive marketing campaign.
Announcing the opening of visitor registrations, Mubarak Chati, managing director of 1 Events Media said: “Business-to-business events play an important bridge-building role, helping companies to find new partners, suppliers and solutions, and thereby enabling them to improve their competiveness. The E3 Business Expo is distinctive because it’s aimed at businesses across the whole of the North West, so it’s an opportunity for visitors to forge new links with some of the region’s best and most dynamic enterprises.
“It’s also been designed to pack as much value as we possibly can into a single day. We know delegates lead busy lives so we’ve effectively organised an exhibition, a seminar programme, three networking events and an IT advisory clinic, and set them all together in a single six-hour session. As a result, we’re confident that visitors will find the Expo a very effective use of their time.”
Entrance to the Expo is free but anyone intending to visit is advised to register in advance rather than at the door, thereby avoiding queues. The registration form can be found here.
