Alternative Forms of Networking at E3 Business Expo
On 3rd March 2016, visitors to the one-day E3 Business Expo in Bolton will have the chance to take part in two alternative forms of business networking.
The Expo will be held between 10am and 4.30pm at the Macron Stadium’s Premier Suite. In addition to around 90 exhibition stands and a day-long programme of short seminars, delegates will have the opportunity to meet new customers through a combination of speed networking and table networking sessions.
The host and organiser of the Expo is 1 Events Media. Its managing director Mubarak Chati explains the difference between the two approaches:
“We’ll be running the table networking sessions in conjunction with 8 Business Networking, a membership organisation that runs meetings like these all over the country. The sessions feature 8 delegates per table and last 40 minutes each, with time allotted for each person to present their business and explain the benefits of their offering. There will be two table networking events – one on the morning and one in the afternoon.
“The other is a speed networking opportunity and again, we’ll be holding sessions before and after lunch. In this case, they involve around 30 delegates and last 45 minutes in all, so the pace is faster but there’s a chance to meet a larger number of contacts. We’re running these sessions in conjunction with 4Networking, a UK-wide company that holds over five thousand such meetings every year.”
The table networking sessions will take place at 11am and 1.30pm, while the speed networking events will start at noon and 2.30pm.
The sessions are free, as is entry to the E3 Business Expo itself, but visitors are advised to pre-register so as to avoid long queues at the door.

The site also includes a visitor registration page and details of the six free seminars that will be taking place throughout the day. Topics include marketing, business security, new ICT technologies and health and wellbeing in the workplace. Experts from the Chartered Institute of Marketing will be available all day to provide delegates with free marketing advice.
