The venue for the E3 Business Awards is the Premier Suite, University of Bolton Stadium in Bolton. The home of Bolton Wanderers FC, it was previously known as the Macron Stadium. It is located just off Junction 6 of the M61 motorway.

How to Find the Premier Suite, University of Bolton Stadium (previously known as the Macron Stadium) The E3 Business Awards will be held in the Premier Suite, Macron Stadium, Bolton Wanderers Football Club, opposite Car park C.

The University of Bolton Stadium is located just off junction 6 of the M61. The Stadium is easily accessible when travelling by car, train or air. Please see below for directions and further details.

Car Travel

If travelling by CAR from the North, If travelling down the M6, follow signs for the M61 and leave at Junction 30. Once on the M61, follow signs for Manchester/Bolton and leave at Junction 6 (University of Bolton Stadium should be visible on the left). Take the first exit off the roundabout onto the A6027, the De Havilland Way. At the next roundabout, take a left turn onto Burnden Way and park in the main stadium visitors’ car park.

If travelling by CAR from the South, If travelling up the M6, follow signs for the M62 and leave at Junction 21a, following signs for Manchester. Join the M60 at Junction 12 and proceed to follow signs for the M61 towards Preston. (Do NOT take the A666 towards Bolton.) Turn off the M61 at Junction 6 and take the third exit off the roundabout onto the A6027, the De Havilland Way. At the next roundabout, take a left turn onto Burnden Way and park in the main stadium visitors’ car park.

FREE Car Parking
1,300 car parking spaces are available at the Stadium, please follow signs for Car Park C which is conveniently located opposite the Premier Suite at the North entrance.

Train Travel

If you are travelling to the Stadium by TRAIN, the nearest railway station is Horwich Parkway situated approximately 500 meters away from the stadium. Regular services run from Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria stations and take approximately 30 minutes. Air Travel

If travelling to the University of Bolton Stadium by AIR the closest airport is Manchester. Manchester airport is approximately 40 minutes away by car. Regular train services run to Manchester Piccadilly station for connecting trains to Horwich Parkway.

If you are having trouble locating the Stadium other possible landmarks to look out for are the Middlebrook Retail park situated just behind the Stadium and also the Bolton arena which is approximately 150 meters away from the Stadium.
